Flexible Care &
Support, Planned Around You
Care Packages
Tailored To Individual Needs
At Windmill Lodge Supported Living, we do not believe in one-size-fits-all care. Every care package is shaped around the individual.
Our support can be adapted for adults who need help with daily routines, personal care where applicable, emotional wellbeing, independent living skills, community access, tenancy responsibilities, accommodation-based support or more complex care needs.
We work with service users, families, carers, social workers, commissioners and healthcare professionals to make sure the care package is safe, suitable and focused on positive outcomes.
Our Services Include

Tailored Care Packages
Every person’s support is planned around their individual situation. We take time to understand daily routines, abilities, risks and goals, then shape the care package around what the person actually needs. Support can be reviewed and adjusted if circumstances change.

Accommodation-Based Support
For adults who need a stable and supportive place to live, Windmill Lodge offers an environment where care and guidance can be planned around assessed needs. This may suit people who need reassurance, daily structure, longer-term support or help managing everyday life.

Supported Living Services
Our supported living services help adults live safely and as independently as possible while receiving the right level of care and support. Support may include daily routines, personal care where applicable, medication prompts where agreed, appointments, budgeting, community access, tenancy support, emotional wellbeing and life skills.

Learning Disability Support
We support adults with learning disabilities to build confidence, develop daily living skills and enjoy greater independence. Support is planned around each person’s abilities, communication needs, routines and goals, helping them feel safe, respected and included.

Autism Support
Our autism support is person-centred, structured and respectful. We take time to understand each person’s communication style, routines, sensory preferences, strengths and goals, so support can be delivered in a way that feels calm, consistent and meaningful.
Mental Health Support
We provide support for adults with mental health needs, focusing on wellbeing, stability, confidence and daily structure. Support may include help with routines, appointments, emotional reassurance, social confidence, community access and maintaining a safe lifestyle.
Complex Needs Support
For adults with more complex needs, we provide structured care and support based on clear planning, risk awareness and regular reviews. Where appropriate, we work with families, social workers, commissioners and healthcare professionals to make sure the right support is in place.

Daily Living & Independence Support
We help adults with practical everyday tasks that support confidence, independence and wellbeing. This may include support with cooking, cleaning, shopping, budgeting, appointments, personal organisation, laundry, meal planning, routines and life skills.

Community Access Support
We support service users to access their local community safely and confidently. This may include attending appointments, social activities, education, volunteering, day opportunities, leisure activities, shopping, family visits and community facilities.

Tenancy Support
Our tenancy support helps service users understand, manage and maintain their responsibilities while living in supported accommodation. This may include support with bills, appointments, reporting maintenance issues, keeping the home safe and organised, and building confidence around independent living.
Support Based On A Full Pre-Assessment
Before care or support begins, we complete a pre-assessment to understand the person’s needs, strengths, risks, routines, preferences and goals.
This helps us identify the right level of support and create a personalised care and support plan. The pre-assessment may consider:
- Daily living needs
- Personal care needs, where applicable
- Communication needs
- Mobility and physical support needs
- Mental health and emotional wellbeing
- Medication support needs, where agreed
- Risks and safeguarding needs
- Independence skills
- Family and professional involvement
- Desired outcomes and personal goals
Support plans are reviewed regularly so care can adapt if the person’s needs change.
Working With Families, Social Workers & Commissioners
Choosing the right care and support service is an important decision. Families want reassurance that their loved one will be safe, respected and properly supported.
Windmill Lodge Supported Living works closely with families, carers, social workers, local authorities, commissioners and healthcare professionals. We aim to provide clear communication, safe planning and reliable support from the first enquiry through to ongoing reviews.
We welcome enquiries from individuals, families and professionals looking for care packages, supported living or accommodation-based support. Although we are based in Northfleet, we are open to wider enquiries where the placement and support arrangements may be suitable.
Safe, Respectful And Person-Centred Support
Every care and support plan is built around the individual’s assessed needs, risks, goals and preferences.
We focus on dignity, safety, clear communication and regular review. Our team aims to provide support that feels respectful, reliable and suitable for each person’s circumstances.
Where regulated activity applies, services will be delivered in line with applicable care standards, legal requirements and relevant regulatory expectations.
